Husband-and-wife team Kim and Jeffrey George have created a successful business by treating employees and clients like family. The George family has been catering to Houstonians for more than 20 years. It's true that happy employees result in satisfied clients -- the food tastes better, the smiles are genuine, deliveries arrive on time, and relationships thrive.
Kim and Jeffrey are hands-on owners who spend time every day cooking, researching recipes, purchasing new display items, managing orders and operations, making deliveries and attending events.
A fun-loving couple, they met while bidding on an event in 1990. Jeffrey not only won the event, he found his bride. The couple planned events together (including that first one!) for five years and then planned their own wedding. An avid fisherman, Jeffrey likes to say that he found the catch of his life. Kim loves to shop and considers Jeffrey her best find.
The entire staff does a fabulous job and is delighted to cater events that range from lunch meetings in offices and celebrations in private homes to large production catering for film crews and weddings at event facilities. Successful engagements include a four-week contract with the MTV production crew during the 2004 Super Bowl, catering for the production crew of Trading Spaces, the 2002 and 2003 American Idol Tour, and a formal seated luncheon for 1200 business leaders, hosted by the Better Business Bureau. In fall 2003, Jeffrey was featured on the Food Channel. |
